ABOUT EMPLOYMENT

SIE is always seeking qualified teachers who can join our academic program. SIE is growing, and so positions may open at the start of each semester.

  • In your cover letter, please state the position(s) for which you would like to apply. The list of positions for which we are continually receiving applications are:
    1. Elementary Homeroom Teacher (Grade 1-5)
    2. Middle-Grade (Grade 6-8) Core subject Teacher
    3. Upper Grade (Grade 9-12) Core subject Teacher
    4. Elective (Art, Music, PE, Technology) Teacher
  • For all teaching positions, we consider applicants who meet the following criteria:
    1. Minimum 2 years teaching experience in an accredited institution.
    2. Teaching License issued by State government or verified licensure program.
      (TESOL certification is helpful, but is not equivalent to a Teaching License).
    3. Contact information of at least two professional references, in particular the past supervisors.
    4. Citizenship of South Korea, USA, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, or New Zealand. Other nationalities may be considered if they are native or near-native speakers of English.
    5. All applicants MUST undergo a criminal background check prior to employment. Results of the background check must be apostiled as a part of the visa process.
